What is Plasmage?

Application of Plasmage

PLASMAGE is a plasma-generating device that influences biological tissues with controlled pulses. Treatment of the problem zone results in sublimation (direct passage of the substance from the solids in a gaseous state) on the surface layer of the skin without contact between the skin and the device. After the procedure, a withdrawal of the skin will occur. In the treated area will apрear very small, fine crusts that will fall about 7 to 15 days. Do not touch or remove the delicate crusts! The process has a significant bio revitalizing effect on the treated area and the surrounding tissues. The result is completely rejuvenated and lifted skin!

How Does Plasmage Work?

PLASMAGE works in a wide range of actions on any type of skin, allowing for extreme precision in zone processing. 30-40 minutes before the procedure is placed an anesthetic cream for maximum comfort of the patient, the therapy itself lasts about 15 – 20 minutes. Extremely good results are achieved in the area around the mouth and eyes – for lifting and removing excess eyelid skin for nonoperative blepharoplasty or also called blepharoplasty!

Recovery Time and Side Effects

  • Patients receive a slight swelling of the treated area, which will disappear after a few days. Light crusts are formed that fall independently after 7 to 15 days.
  • Avoid sun exposure and solariums for 7-8 weeks.
  • Sun Protection Cream (SPF50) is mandatory in the next 90 days.
  • In the case of eye contour treatment, wear dark glasses.
  • Local antibiotic ointment treatment should be given for 6-9 days after therapy.

Patients Who Can’t Be Treated:

  • Patients with cardiovascular problems;
  • Pacemaker carriers or other electronic aids;
  • Carriers of metal implants near the treated area;
  • Pregnant or nursing mothers;
  • Patients treated with anticoagulants;
  • Wait at least a month if you have already treated the area with a laser, ultrasound, botox, peeling, and so on.
